Established in 2005, LitCentral Inc. ™ is a privately held technology development company located in the beautiful wine country of Temecula, California. The meaning of LitCentral has evolved with the company. LitCentral means the central place where ideas are brought to light. Consumers and patrons often have the best ideas on how to improve a service or product. We specialize in gathering their feedback and turning it into actionable data. The dynamic results are presented to company leaders so they may quickly determine the best path forward to efficiently improve their products and services.
LitCentral has obtained multiple patents covering the quantification of feedback, opinions and emotions - in three of the largest industries in the world – Entertainment, Healthcare and Government.
Before buying a product, going to the movies or purchasing a new item, we often scan the internet for a rating. Today’s rating systems are based primarily on stars, a scale of 1 – 10, thumbs-up/ thumbs-down, poor/fair/good, etc. This method of rating is inferior because the feedback is captured in a subject manner and is based upon each person’s individual standard. More importantly, averaging multiple people’s scores to try and obtain an overall opinion becomes meaningless because the feedback itself is completely subjective and cannot be merged.
Developed in the early 80’s by academia, a rubric is the only scientific model for quantifying subjective feedback. LitCentral Inc. ™ has refined and expanded the rubric methodology and patented its use with regard to capturing feedback and analyzing documents in both the healthcare and entertainment industries. The cutting-edge applications quantify feedback results and turn the data into a numeric value. When feedback is turned into a numeric value, multiple opinions can be merged, displaying a better indication of the information or quality of the material.
From manuscript to book, from script to screen or medication to wellness – quantified opinions offer a numeric value in which one can base a decision. LitCentral is currently establishing strategic partnerships in healthcare and can be contacted for partnering opportunities and patent licensing information.
